About Bridget

I’m one of those people who is all over the place, who is involved in everything and who tries to do everything perfectly. My best friend describes me as “adorably weird,” and she’s probably right.

This personal blog allows me to combine my passions for social media, writing and photography.

I was born and raised in Orlando, Fla. and recently graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in journalism.  Soon I’ll be off to Washington D.C. for a year-long communications volunteer position with a  Catholic mission organization.

My favorite things include food, travel, dogs, God, the performing arts, books, magazines, newspapers, the color green and Gator basketball.  As a francophile, I love French food, cinema, art, history as well as the language (most of the time). I started studying French  my freshman year of high school and, while it was not my strongest subject, I earned a minor in French and Francophone studies at the University of Florida.

I am passionate about organ and tissue donation, but I’ve been known to support a number of issues. I’m interested in education and am discerning taking some time off to teach, perhaps in Mississippi.

If you would like to learn more about my work as a journalist, please see my portfolio.
